Gallery C is one of only a few Triangle art galleries that specializes in the appraisal and resale of historically important North Carolina painters and sculptors from the 19th and 20th Centuries. Of course, purchasing artwork is only half the joy. Now you have to hang it in your home or office! No matter where you are in the Triangle, we are happy to help install your artwork as well as provide interior design advice. Our home or office hanging service fee starts at $110 for the first hour and $75/hour for each additional hour. We can also arrange for two employees to visit if your project is more extensive. Charlene Ferrell Newsom, a native North Carolinian, founded Gallery C in 1985. Her early passion for art led her to Wake Forest University and a degree in art history. The gallery reflects her studied expertise in both contemporary art, as well as historic Southern painting, cartography, and antique prints.

Patrick Hurley has been the director of Gallery C since 2007. A North Carolina native, Patrick's interest in art led him to a degree from North Carolina State University in environmental science with a concentration in ceramic art. Expanding to the fine arts, he has persued a career in gallery work. |
Jason Gotta, newest addition to the Gallery C staff, hails from Connecticut. Jason has a degree in Digital Media from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York and relocated to Raleigh in 2006. His current position with the gallery combines his love of art with his expertise in information technology.
