OK, so you have bought the fabulous modern house and appointed it with classic furniture by Sarrian and Le Corbusier now what do you do with those lovely and large expanses of wall surface? You need something that is strong enough to hold it’s own with and accentuate the architecture, and to draw your eye to the very subtle detailing of the space. What you need is modern and contemporary artwork.
We at Gallery C specialize in both the artists from what is thought of as the Classic Age of Modernism (1940’s through the 1960”s) as well as artists still working and even invigorating that style. We have witnessed the renewed interest in this style and created a special page on our website which focuses on the artists that we represent who’s work will be beautiful hanging any modernist interior.
For the hardcore enthusiasts we have works by Joe Cox, Claude Howell, Mary Anne Jenkins, Robert Broderson, Henry Pearson, and George Bireline. For those interested in discovering new talent we have Charlie Mills, Gloria Roberts, Jean Jack , Willie Marlowe and Keiko Genka.
We would love for you to come in and spend some time in the gallery getting to know the work of these artists better and chosing the pieces that will go perfectly in your modern home.
