TV Commercial animation art is an exciting subset of animation art that has been making converts fast and furious. As the value of older Disney and Warner-Bros art has risen, vintage TV commercial cels have remained more affordable. This is ironic since those of us who have grown up on television are as fond of characters like Captain Crunch, Toucan Sam, Charlie Tuna and the Jolly Green Giant as any in animation. Raid Bug animation art is particularly prized. TV Commercial cartoon cels are often very high quality as budgets for these short productions were very high. The original cels often contain photographs of the cereal box or other product being advertised and, a matching TV commercial animation drawing is not often hard to find.
