Maxine Cash Linney's work is non-objective and experimental. Linney's work is generally structered pieces, incorporating collage and the three dimensional. Many pieces take on a geometric quality. Linney explores texture and color relationships and has a fascination for how varying changes of light change the appearance of her work. Linney's method is mixed media, composed of many layers, the culmination of a mental/visual dialogue where intuition has the final say.
