Atlanta based artist Cynthia Knapp is one of the Southeast’s most prominent non-objective painters. Her works hang in numerous corporate and private collections around the country including those of Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, IBM, and many others. In the last few years Knapp has been taking her imagery out of the two-dimensional canvas and creating three-dimensional "ribbons" of living color and shape. The first of these was a commission for Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport and her most recent works were created for the new Rehabilitation Center at WakeMed Hospital and the Ridgewood Shopping Center, both in Raleigh, NC. Images follow. For more information on these works and on how to commission a Cynthia Knapp for your home or business contact us at Gallery C.
