| This map of Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia and northern Florida is described by William P. Cumming in "The SouthEast in Early Maps" as "the most correct map of this area yet to appear." The map has both the English and French Royal Arms marking their areas of influence. The framing employs double glazing in order to display the Latin text on the back of the map. This very important map is included in the collections of Duke, UNC, New York Public Library, Yale, Harvard and The American Geographical Society. |
